First of all I object to this proposal being posted on the features list as
I only noticed it thanks to Mick including imc-uk-video in his reply.

Second, the imobile banner doesn't link to a service contracted from a
private company, it is just a static page with some info about various
initiatives to take indymedia to the streets and fields. it doesn't even
mention the service ana refers to.

mobile.indymedia.org itself is currently down and has been for a couple of
days. it shares a development server with a bunch of other non indymedia
things and occasionally the apache server goes down or something happens to
the server itself that breaks it. apparently mobile indymedia isn't
important enough to get any support or use of an indymedia production
server.
