i'd like to propose this posting:

as a feature for the UK's front page, as well as for Indymedia topic 
and World region, specially now that the communiques from Indymedia 
Ecuador in relation to the recent arrests of Indymedia comrades there 
have been translated into english:

the body of the feature is basically taken from Indymedia.org, but the 
translations of the communiques are an imc-uk exclusive :-) Also it may 
not be 'hot news' anymore in the sense that the arrests took place last 
week, but one of them is still inside, and I think that, at least, the 
indymedia network needs to show solidarity when a node is attacked.
