[IMC-UK-Features] feature - e.on pulls out of careers fairs

Yet to be confirmed but could be worth a feature.  Don't think I'll have
the energy to write it today, but can pass on contact email addresses to
anyone who does want to.  And if no one steps up, I'll have a go tomorrow.

Students and campers across the country have put e.on off turning up to
grad
fairs. I just got this message from a loughbough student:

Hi!

AMAZING NEWS:

E-on didn't show up today, and have, according to the AIESEC people at our
fair, cancelled ALL remaining graduate recruitment events for the rest
of the
year!!! This is due to too many protests at previous events.

Well done! You guys should be proud of yourselves!

We were slightly disappointed cause we initially thought they might have
cancelled for a less convincing reason. But this! It's just unbelievable!

Long live the student movement!

(Sorry, on a bit of a high note at the moment...)

- Im not sure that we can trust that statement, but we'll see tomorrow
at their
event in Birmingham - where students are geared up with elephant costumes
(climate change = elephant in e.on's board room). Though to be fair
there was
only 4  events left, but i think its brill.

Should we press release this?? Could be a nice return from all the police
terrorism rubbish, lovely elephants stop dirty e.on etc as momentum
builds for
the face.off!!
