I'm busy too so I can't help much, but from what I've heard from
eyewitnesses I'd say that's not an accurate representation of what
happened (unfortunately I wasn't there). While crowds did intervene, the
stalls had largely been dismantled by this stage. Also, there was only one
van at first, and one cop, who was going from stall to stall confiscating
stuff. Only when the arrests were made did the crowd intervene, and it was
at this point that the cop called for backup. 410463 is the fullest
account so far.
