Hi,
I hope the United Families and Friends Remembrance Procession, Sat 25th Oct
will be given priority for Front-Page coverage.

It is a shame, despite repeated asks over the years, that unlike last
year, this year it has again not been highlighted as a main forthcoming
event on the left-hand panel of the website.

I am happy to write something up for Saturday in association with Ken Fero
and liase with any photo journalists who will be attending

Saturday 25th October, Trafalgar Square,1pm
The United Families and Friends Campaign is a coalition of relatives of
people who have died in all forms of custody - police, prison, immigration
and psychiatric. Every October the UFFC organises a march by families of
people who have died in custody from Trafalgar Square to Downing Street in
rememberance of their loved ones.
The tenth rememberance procession is scheduled for Saturday 25 October
2008. The event starts at Trafalgar Square in London (nearest tube:
Charing Cross) at 1pm, walking in silent procession along Whitehall to
Downing Street. The procession will then continue to Parliament Square for
a rally outside the Houses of Parliament. People joining the procession
are asked to dress in black.
