[IMC-UK-Features] WDAIL Feature and re: "Feature proposal: Whaling Ship Sunk"

Have edited the whaling feature, good call. Next time though feel free to edit it, that's why its on wiki (just leave a comment at the bottom and we can argue about it if needs be!)

 

With the WDAIL feature I think we should get it up asap with a brief summary, the picture links that are coming in, any videos, news, etc. The whaling feature will be a startpage special, so will have main exposure anyway, therefore could also highlight the WDAIL feature on the front page along with it. You could then add an update (in bold for example) to the summary with 'read full report' when you've done it, or something similar?

 

I just think news should be up asap, as that's the idea of news (for example the dog saved is something to get up as soon as). Furthermore the idea of features is to update, not to be released when fully complete. Let me know what you think... I'll put a few words together for now, so you can use/edit/throw away when you got time. Hope thats ok.

I see your point though about getting it up all together, I'm just thinking a change to the summary would be more than sufficient for your full report to be noticed/read when available. 

 

With me doing a quick feature now, you could even write a new one to replace it then nobody will be able to miss the difference (espcially when the whaling feature is de-specialed)
