Yes I think the issue of the server seizure is definitely more 
important now than any other issue. Please note that by 'important' i 
only mean in terms of having it on top of the site, and nothing else.

The server seizure has left imc-uk in a bit of a financial hole (it's 
the second imcuk server bought and lost in just over three years) Also, 
the day-to-day running costs of imcuk (bandwith costs, colo costs, and 
so on) need to be met every month. And it is the view of some of us 
that unless we manage to get some regular contributions coming in, the  
'financial' stability and viability of the project may become way to 
precarious to continue in the long run.

And that's why people now think imcuk should try to raise some money, 
and that's why yesterday i proposed the 'Support imcuk!' rant. And I 
proposed it to be a startpage special for a long time (at least a 
month) during which time there can't be another start page special on 
the front page.

Now, at some point we hope to have a 'donate' banner designed, and so 
eventually the 'support imcuk' start page special can be removed, but 
until this happens i (and some others think) that it is very important 
to keep that one (and only that one) on top of the front page.
