This is what happens in a volunteer based project. If it's your 'thing'
then you'll act on it, that's how it works. Lot's of us have plenty of
commitments including the regional based sites so we can't do
everything. If you hadn't put it up, then it probably would have
'festered' for longer as you put it.
Tbh the feature was only down for a few hours on Saturday morning. I
unticked uk (I don't think that constitutes a hide as such) and ben
re-ticked it pretty quickly and it wasn't challenged. Now I understand
it's gone from a startpage special, which wasn't proposed properly, to a
feature on the top of the middle column and reports are still rolling
in. Consequently it's had loadsa exposure, so what's the problem?
Playing nicely but imperfectly ;)
