Response from a long-time lurker. I agree with the initial complaint that the Schnews articles are NOT indymedia features as described and intended. The responses to the OP are not answering this objection. If the initial agreement was probationary and is up for review soon, then I hope that the decision taken will reflect the original and long-standing rules for what an Indymeida feature is, and Schnews editorials are removed from the centre column. Like the previous poster, I agree that Schnews articles are great, Schnews is great, that "we" need to write more features (based on newswire posts), that the topic of features is irrelevant so long as it reflects timely, contemporary news from the newswire, but that should not allow IMUK to become an alternative platform for one particular organ of alternative, activist media. Can this not be discussed on the features list rather than at a network meeting? I am unlikely to be able to attend such a meeting, but can comment and argue here.
 
Once again, Schnews, their work, and the editorials themselves are great. My life in the 90s was pretty much dictated by them.
