Hi,

I am very concerned to understand your 'moderation' policy, since by
definition 'moderation' should mean being even-handed.  How have you arrived
at a situation where (1) any discussion of anti-semitism is deemed
"disruptive" or re-post or non-news (2) inaccuracies stay up and factual
corrections are hidden (3) any discussion of Israel not being all bad, or
Palestinians not being all good, is hidden (4) animal welfare does not
matter?

(1)  Why were the several posts about anti-semitism yesterday all hidden,
which included quite reasoned debate e.g. "Strepsil" praising the ISM and
Rachel Corrie?  Under what circumstances, if any, would a post on
anti-semitic attacks be permitted?

(2)  Since your own moderation rules forbid inaccuracies, who has hidden the
final comment by "truth seeker" to the promoted post 393065, and why? when
all it does is point out inaccuracies (exaggerations against Israel) in this
post, which have been left up uncorrected?

(3)  If you believe that the facts show that Israel is in the wrong and the
Palestinians are in the right, why do you (or certain moderators) need to
hide factual posts and comments that show that the situation is more
complex?

(i)  Who has hidden "ayvv"'s second last comment to 393065, and "gehrig"'s
final two comments to post 393230, and why, when all they were doing was
answering questions/continuing a dialogue?

(ii)  Why have you hidden post 394538 on Palestinians, whereas soon after
you displayed 394619?

(iii)  Why have you left up post 393221 which is a re-post of post 393152?
This is disgusting gloating.

(iv)  Why have you hidden both (identical) comments to 393740 by "if I'm not
mistaken" which criticise Dr Ilan Pappe, yet you have left up several other
comments which are complementary of Dr Pappe?  Is it taboo to factually
criticise this man?

(v)  Why have you left up the repeat posts 393309, 393308 which are repeats
of 393071, when other things were hidden the same day?  This seems like
spiteful non-moderation.

(vi)  Why have both (identical) comments to 393127 been hidden?  Why the
need to hide comments by Hamas members in their own words that they will go
on fighting until they destroy Israel, which is extremely pertinent and
topical to that post?
(4)  Why have you hidden post 393008?  Is animal welfare not important?
