[imc-uk-moderation] Concern about some of Keith Parkins' posts to the newswire

Hi,

Both the publicly available email addresses that I have for Keith 
Parkins have bounced back the original email I sent to this list voicing 
concern about the anti-Semitic and discriminatory content of some of his 
posts to our newswire.

So for the time being it doesn't look like we can discuss his posts with 
him.

In attempt to move this on, I think Mike D's suggestion is worth turning 
into a proposal:

"It cannot really be denied that the articles listed are incredibly
anti-semitic and Islamophobic. I for one am not happy with him
associating himself with Indymedia as an "Indymedia contributor" as
most of these articles have been hidden. To a person not au fait
with the open publishing of Indymedia it makes it look as if his
articles are endorsed by Indymedia. The only people who benefit from
this are zionists and fascists.

I think at the least we should ask Keith to remove this association
from his website, and also have discussion about what action to take
if someone abuses Indymedia editorial guidelines consistently."

So I'd like to propose we ask Keith Parkins to remove any reference to 
Indymedia on his website, although we can't realistically do this if 
emails bounce back from his accounts. So where do this leave us?

I've also recently noticed that Parkins has contributed to other IMC's 
such as Ireland and London. I'm not sure if he posted the same 
discriminatory posts to these IMC's though.

Does anyone else have any opinions or proposals on this yet?
