Which articles are you refering to, why haven't you hidden
them if they breach the sites editorial guidelines?

We don't have any evidence that the two comments or the
"dead granny" email were actually sent by SHAC supporters
do we? Also it wasn't animal rights activists taking the
servers or arresting people was it?

I think that automatically hiding any post with the SHAC
topic ticked makes about as much sense as the suggestion
at the network meeting before last that a "solution" to
the issue of there being a lot of Israel / Palestine
material on the newswire would be to hide it all...
If there are specific articles which breach the editorial
guidelines then let's deal with them in the usual way...
