I hope this proposal to block/censor SHAC news is blocked.

It seems to me to be fuelled by fear, paranoia and lack of
understanding of/support for the animal rights movement. At a time
when Indymedia UK should be opening up, encouraging and inviting more
- - very much needed - members it seems to be on the verge of encasing
itself in armour, shrinking away from parts of the movement.
No doubt GDM et al have good reason to feel under pressure but surely
we can encourage contributors to be careful rather than censoring an
entire campaign!

I will oppose any such proposal.
