sorry: but i gotta agree with chip here, and i'm feeling very
rushed/pushed into this whole thing. i haven't read the rest of your email
- it was do that and voice no opinion, or respond now and read later.... i
chose that option.

i think it is a very rushed proposal and needs sometime for people to
think about and discuss - there have already been heated discussions on
imc-uk-tech between a few people who have had time and/or access, but it
_has_ been a weekend and, as so often with indy, there are many fewer
people online. plus now there is a whole lot of catching up to do ;-)

this doesn't mean to say that i think calyx is a bad idea - just that i am
not convinced yet as i haven't had time to look at (or do!) all the
research yet. anyway, back to work...
