Hiya
Just catching up ..
Hamish mentions below the idea of doing some imc stuff at this summer's
climate camp.
The same as him, I don't like to throw proposals around that then I
can't really get into helping. Besides I don't even know if I'll be
going myself, or even if I'll be in the country then. But still, I
would like just to mention that:
a) I think that an indymedia centre there would be great. Good for
outreach and also good for reporting whatever actions may be happening.
It doesn't need to be a full on operation, but maybe just a small
marquee with 10 boxes or so. Indy could also do screenings on some
evenings and so on.
b) I know where to get some kit for free right now. By kit I mean
boxes, screens, hubs, cables, burners, printers and so on. BUT I can't
get it, collect it, or store it myself. I throw it here just in case
there's a crew that is into the idea and could come down to London and
pick up the stuff.
If so, I am happy to liaise, so mail me privately for the contact. BUT
it has to be done within the next two weeks, otherwise the kit will go
somewhere else.
Ok
cheers
