Registration-only systems might be possible (and understandable) but  
it currently precludes using MIR.

This means we cannot cut the corners and just use what they already  
maintain (their version of MIR installed on their servers) and  
instead need to create / modify / install our own system.

I cannot take that task on, unless it is Pytheas, and that is  
dependent on free time within our cooperative (I expect we will be  
busy for at least 4-6 months, altho after this we will also be better  
placed to do the implementation using the system).

I have to say that this seems to me a disproportionate amount of  
delay and inconvenience.
