Sorry but that's really not a satisfactory answer as i'm sure you can imagine.

Since you seem to be the only person who has the necessary control of the uk site to find out why, please could you try to do so.

Have they been deleted (it's quite a coincidence that they do not follow each other chronologically but are both on the same subject, despite articles appearing as expected either side), or is there another possible explanation. What do the cron and access logs show?
