[Imc-uk-process] PROPOSAL: support brisbane imc disaffiliation

hi all,

the proposal for brisbane disaffiliation from the imc network was made by
melbourne and ex-bris indy activists in october. it was subseqeuntly
discussed on this list last month by uk people. imc-germany then proposed
that the deadline be extended to 12.00 gmt on 12 december.

there has been no disagreement from anyone in the uk; a number of people
have commented in support of the disaffiliation. hence, i am proposing
that the following email be sent to imc-process:

Hello,

The Indymedia United Kollectives (IMC-UK) have discussed - and wish to
support - the proposal for the disaffiliation of Brisbane IMC from the
Indymedia network.

In particular, we wish to support the proposal for disaffiliation based on
the fact that there appears to have been some conflict with the Indymedia
Principles of Unity - although this is hard to quantify. But, more
worryingly, there also appears to have been a lack of ability to moderate
the newswire - or even, for the last month, to maintain a newswire.

We would like to note, however, that the Brisbane collective may go
through new-imc process at any stage and, if they are successful, may
rejoin the network.
