red -- fecha lmite propuesta, September 4, 15:00 GMT)

IMCistas,

llegar a otro.

In solidaridad.

no era de acuerdo con la propuesta.

PROPOSAL: Darwin IMC (disaffiliation and banning of member from the
IMC network-- proposed decision deadline, September 4, 15:00 GMT)

Dear IMCistas,

Melbourne Indymedia has arrived at the following position regarding
the current Darwin IMC saga. We hope that if other IMCs are prepared
to support this proposal, particularly those close and knowledgeable
about the situation within the Oceania region, that we might finally
be able to conclude this saga and continue on more fruitfully with out
IMC work.

"Given the continuous personal attacks by Mick Lambe against
individuals within a host of Indymedia collectives and his continuous
abuse of Indymedia sites to attack both these individuals and IMC
collectives, Melbourne Indymedia has come to the decision that it
refuses to support any Darwin IMC that would ever include Mick Lambe.
Any collective wishing to call itself Darwin Indymedia would therefore
require, as part of it's constitution, to exclude this individual and
would automatically forfeit it's place as an IMC if he were ever to
become a member." [1]

We realise that this is a quite harsh conclusion but we are unable to
come to any other and feel that as Mick Lambe is unable to work with
so many Indymedia collectives, has been banned from several lists and
whose behaviour has resulted in two hosting collectives refusing to
continue work with him, that the time has long past to part company
and work separately.

If other collectives are willing to support this position and the
would be Darwin IMC continues to include Mick Lambe within it then we
would propose that Darwin be officially disaffiliated as an IMC,
removed from the cities list and have all related lists and other
resources removed.

In Solidarity

noted that he objected to the proposal.
