[Imc-uk-process] a fork is the only path...

Hi,

Its kind of Slacker to offer to mediate and I hope something comes 
of it.  However I see no alternative to forking.  Clearly the two 
sides don't want to work together and as time passes the gap 
between us grows.  
It is pointless to think of not forking, because the alternative is 
more of the same arguments that go round and round.

As most of the UK-based full IMCs, London, Bristol, Nottingham and 
North - no longer wish to work with the status-quo (Scotland has 
abstained).  That leaves a handful of people behind, none of whom 
are an IMC, which means UK Indymedia cannot call itself an 
Indymedia site from 1st May.  (Birmingham is not an IMC, as Bart 
noted on the global process list in dismissing their attempts to 
block the ongoing UK list shut-downs as part of the forking.)

So I suggest we focus our energies on getting the fork done as soon 
as possible, so we can all get on with what we all do this for - 
running IMCs...
