[Imc-uk-video] footage for g8

great, the mark curtis interview sounds cool.well done!!

i am up for helping out with a video session/s at the convergence. i have
been at many big actions with different imc's so i would be happy to share
any knowledge / learn from others in prep for scotland.

one thing me, mick from manchester and zoe from london have been talking
about also is legal stuff for video people. including maybe getting bike
couriers to collect tapes during demos in cities.

heres 3 ideas i am thinking about and would suggest to talk about during
the video meeting/s af the convergence:

- a small crew who are up for being a backing up / digitising tapes during
actions, constantly  based at the imc centre.(i have more detailed ideas
about this i will talk about that the convergence!!)this is for archiving
/ collective commons use, as well as legal saftey
- a small screening crew: people who are into compiling footage from the
day and screening it in the evenings, and / or getting a film programme
together for evening screenings.
- one thing me, mick from manchester and zoe from london have been talking
about also is legal stuff for video people. including maybe getting bike

about gathering material:
 from our g8 film project in bristol, we are gathering alot of interviews
now.  i will make a list of material we have got soon for the wiki, got
to clarify consent for creative commons use first...but so far we have
filmed 7 interviews (including polyp the political cartoonist, and mark
curtis too!), and i have interviewed charlotte paterson from women in
black. we are finalising details for interviews with john pilger and mark
thomas in london on the 24th may, and will be interviewing jo wilding
too.
our film will involve vox pops so we should be doing that at some point too.

i am planning to go to scotland week after next for trapeze tour and
planning to get some more material there.

by the time of convergence i will make a list of footage i concretley have
/ will have, and what else i am planning to / able to get

my question is: since we are gathering more and more footage, does anyone
have any time to log it? please let me know if you can log any tapes.

and how can we make many hours of interviews collectivley available?
