hiya,
cc'ing this to imc g8 list as well :)
have been up in scotland again and this week and talked to
camcorder guerrillas in glasgow
- they have ruff cut now of their g8 film due out on mayday
and limited funds for a dvd release via big issue scotland
cover disc - this may have room for more materials.
they're up for collaborating re g8 / indymedia, but obviously
are their own distinct group - most of wot they do tho is
copyleft
plans are afoot for a glasgow alt media space/s during the
g8 which will be useful for the cre8 carnival and noborders
event and no doubt faslane
they're up for taking a systematic approach to archive / logs
and understand the legal safety issue as well - something
that means part of the operation will be kept 'private' :)
the main thing is to develop the clear boundaries of any
collaborations and archive
they have some mroe meetings in glasgow b4 the convergence
and there will be more general imc meetings in glasgow
and edinburgh in the first week of may - all of which can be
reported back and fed into the london convergence event.
ciao,
dave
