Hello Euan

I dont think there is any problem with screening G8 stuff - the 
problem was having the event under the name of Indymedia and inviting 
an MP - this is not a dig at your hard work organising the event, i 
realise you have put in alot to sort this out, put what others in the 
collective are voicing is an unease with providing platforms for MP's 
(even though we all realise he is out on the left) .

There is a place for debate, but probably not under indy's name, or 
at least we should have more discussion - it is a hard balance, our 
independence and opening out to wider audiences, but all we can do as 
a network is talk about how far we want to go - and i feel this time 
most didn't want to go there!

But on a more positive note i think the new  venue is a great idea 
and should i hope become a regular - if you havn't been put off... 
what were the dates again...
