[Imc-uk-video] [imc-uk-tech] SESSION PROPOSAL :: live video streaming

Hi Yoss,

I've been experimenting with a miniature cycle helmet video camera, with
sound, operating a legal pocket 2.4Ghz transmitter which has a potential
range of 100m. Currently I am sending to a VHS recorder on my bicycle but
this could equally be to a link to a remote hotspot, presumably using an
illegal transmiter ;)

Regarding the backpack idea, what sort of method would be used to communicate
directly in the open to radio.indymedia.org? Again it seems a reasonably
powerful transmitter would be needed.

I wonder where the nearest hotspot to Parliament/Trafalgar Square is? Another
thought, could streaming video be sent via a cell phone?

Doug.
