Sky News will today broadcast a report on the murder of private investigator
Daniel Morgan in conjunction with the launch of "Untouchables: Dirty Cops,
Bent Justice and Racism in Scotland Yard", by journalists Michael Gillard
and Laurie Flynn. The book devotes several chapters to the murder and
details the general failure of the Met's anti-corruption squad to deal with
corrupt officers. 

The book launch, sponsored by Andrew Mackinlay MP, will take place in the
Jubilee Room at the House of Commons between 10:30 -12:30 on Friday 29th
October.

Over 60 MPs have already signed an Early Day Motion calling for a public
inquiry into Daniel Morgan's murder and the failure of four investigations
to resolve allegations of police involvement. 

Yesterday, a Statement of Opinion was issued in the National Assembly for
Wales supporting the call for a public inquiry.
