This was the latest that I have. Sorry if I jumped the gun sending this to
the new-imc list, but I think that this version does limit it pretty well
to the physical spaces.
I think that we may end up rewording it again because it seems that folks
aren't reading that when they read it but it's actually right there. This,
I think, captures both our intention to respect *activists* inside and out
and our awareness that inside a space is the only place we can make a
rule. One possible change that might clarify would be to remove the first
sentence all together and start with: "All IMC's respect the right of
activists..."
#3 Indymedia respects the right of those who wish not to be identified for
any reason. With this in mind, all IMC's respect the right of activists who
choose not to be photographed or filmed, and will encourage all
contributing reporters to do the same. It is required that anyone who
wishes to record, film or photograph inside a physical IMC space announce
their intention in advance to all present and respect the decision of
any person(s) who choose not to be included.
