Hi all,

I petitioned Free Press directly after their last conference and was told that 
if Indymedia organizers wanted, they would be happy to give us full control over 
one of the rooms to turn it into an IMC for the event.  We'd even talked about 
not having a separate Press Room, but rather running everything through the IMC. 
  If there's interest, I'd be happy to get written confirmation from Free Press 
about this.  The folks I spoke with were very keen not to replicate previous 
mistakes, but it also means that we need some Indymedia organizers to step up to 
the plate as the primary contacts/instigators for things.

Basically, if there's interest, this is an opportunity to carve out an Indymedia 
space (under our control) at the conference.  If someone is interested in 
coordinating, I'm happy to pursue this.
