[IMC-US] Houston IMC needs indy-swag for table at US Social Forum

So, 6 HOuston IMC people are coming to the forum and will be staffing a
table at the convention center. We would love folks to help us staff the
table and really really would like some help from folks in gathering swag
for our table.

We would also be very interested in helping in any IMC media projects
doing coverage of the forum, be it web based, radio, a news 'paper'or
whatever.

Indymedia folks you know who can help:

Members of Houston Indymedia are planning to be at the US Social forum in
Atlanta from June 27th to July 1st and plan to table for the Indymedia
network. We are excited to be representing the Indymedia Center at the
social forum and appreciate whatever support folks from other IMC's can
give us in terms of materials and staffing the full-time table at the
convention center (time is of the essence!). We are hoping to gather as
much literature, media, pamphlets, newspapers, stickers, posters, CD's,
DVD's and as much other indy-swag as we can get together. We will talk to
people attending the forum about the indymedia network and connect folks
to IMC's in their region if possible. We will also direct interested folks
to the Ida B Wells Media Justice Center and encourage other to become
involved in media production and community journalism during the forum.

Deadline: June 22nd (on the 24th, all the materials will be put on a bus
as part of the People's Freedom Caravan to the Social Forum).

have questions or want to volunteer to help with the table, feel free to

Though we will try to collect donations (we are in an area where we can't
sell things), proceeds will go to paying for our table, IMC media projects
at the Social Forum and/or the newly restarting Atlanta IMC.
