good point.  i wonder how much traffic these kinds of things actually

The way i see it, it's a link to a service and not a software
installation, in the same way that imc's might make a "translate this
page" link that uses google.  in any case, the way i was thinking of
doing it would be something like on:

rather than big buttons with logos and so on...

but i'm not totally attached to it. especially since most of the
content on indymedia.us is pointers to stuff off the site on the local
imcs....
