Hello guys my name is Waldo and I would first off like to seriously give your organization a big round of applause. You guys offer news that has not been covered by the mainstream media for obvious reasons;the corporations in the media  try to feed us their conservative agendas through their programming and radio and try to cover up all of societies injustices and inequalities. Anyway, I email you guys because I took part in a demonstration today organized by our CSULB Campus  Coaliton Against Hate group(11/13) we protested the visiting and debate of Jim Gilchrist and his Neo-Nazi group the Minutemen because we in no way believe that dehumanizing immigrants, recycling racist fear, and promoting hatred against communities of color are valid arguments that should be tolerated or spread on our campus. I witnessed the passion at which me and my fellow students stood together in solidarity in a non-violent protest against this person and the spread of his ignorant and close-minded ideas. I would like to point out that (according to a flyer past out, author unknown), "the protest was not about restricting free speech- we respect the right for controversial and  challenging  discussion. We are opposed to the validation of the Minutemen as a legitimate contributer to academic discourse." Being Latino and both of my parents immigrating to his country for a better life, I believe that no one should not be denied the chances and opportunities that I was  offered in this country.  I am attaching some links to some bad pictures that I took from my phone camera on campus of the signs made by students.
    One request I have is if you guys can somehow post these pictures up and my little summary I attached. The reason I did not make a full blown article is because I did not experience the whole event in its entirety and I missed the actual debate, therefore I couldn't add more information pertaining to the speakers and their ideas.  From the bottom of my heart, I thank all of your staff for informing the public about societies injustices, advocating for our civil liberties and promoting activism. Once again, this just another news story gone uncovered by the mainstream media.
