[IMC-Video] indymedia and google

we should try to use some of our contacts at google to look into 
this..

Our experience with google News was that they wanted to make 
sure that the site is written/reviewed by an editorial board, 
doesn't contain hate speech and is practicing some form of 
"journalism" (fact-checking etc.).  now quite a lot of stuff 
indexed by google news doesn't seem to meet these standards 
but..... i guess no one is really complaining to google about 
all the right-wing opinion pieces much less the overwhelming 
tide of corporate news

I imagine that they would be expecting Videos to be filtered for 
whatever their arbitrary standards are these days.  otherwise we 
would probably see a repeat of Google news: Someone would 
publish material for the purpose of complaining about it and 
asking google to remove indymedia.  apparently Google News 
received far more complaints about Indymedia than anything else 
due to this orchestrated campaign.
