[IMC-Video] distributed video distro, local imc's broken?

hey, what do folks think about using/integrating this?

it looks great and i met someone working on it who is really great also.
why should we have all our videos on one machine and handle all the
bandwidth? it also seems like portland is doing cool things with
bittorrent, has anyone talked to them about working on video.indymedia?

also, why is the local imc's thing not working? i'd like to help get it
working again. i'm going to have more time in the fall to work on net
video projects and video.indy seems to me like it could be great if we put
more time into it.
