Indymedia peeps,

Hope everyone's May 1st Day of Action went well -- if anyone has video
footage of your local event, be sure to have it included on this
internet TV channel of immigrants' rights actions! It's free and
open-submissions ::

http://mediarights.org/may1

There, you can:

    * watch videos of recent immigrants' rights demonstrations from
      around the country.

    * link to videos of your local community event - anyone can submit a
video to be included, no extensive technical expertise necessary.
Your video does not need to be heavily "produced" or long -- in
fact, about a 5-minute videoblog-esque footage of your local event
seems to be ideal for this channel. You can submit your video to
be included anytime over the next few weeks, it doesn't
necessarily have to be today, but the sooner the better, right?

    * read more about how open internet TV can turn anyone into a local
independent media publisher. Free tools like the Democracy
internet TV platform (www.getdemocracy.com) make it possible for
anyone to publish video on the web to mass audiences. It's great
for grassroots organizations and local alternative media.

There are step-by-step publishing instructions on that May1st webpage,
but anyone may feel free to contact me at any time for help or
recommendations.

Thanks and have a great day!
-David
