I agree.

The free software aspect of the discussion reminds me of
where were at with Mir a few years ago -- it wouldn't run
on 100% free software, but at the time people pointed out
that it would in time and now it does. 

If we get what John is suggesting set up and it works I'm
sure that in time we will be able to make it 100% free
software.

In respect to people putting video on the web we were
ahead of the corporate world a few years ago but now we
are behind -- it is depressing to see so many activist
videos on Google Video and YouTube.

We will need to do some outreach to gain the ground we
have lost -- we can point out the advantages of using
indymedia -- no tracking of users, no adverts etc.

I'd really like to see this up and running.
