thanks, i want internet tv, and i want to stream
it to other people in the neighborhhod. oh well,
mayby around the region but who give a f*ck about
them, if they are 15 miles away they might as
well be in brazil or something. I want to
stream antiwar and other alternative tv content
to *people who I can get to know* and who might
appreciate it, obviously you're not going to do
stuff for people who are so lazy and useless they
don't even appreciate it... but the people who
get the point of it will come an put more content
on there, obviously. Like why shouldn't I put up
a server in my neighborhod? Once we get this
rolling then P2P wireless is a no brainer because
a) we are close enough together and b) there's a
motivation model other than money. Like this
week and next week about a million people who
don't even know each other are going to
houseparties to see a video "iraq for
sale". They do this over and over, this proves
that people are starving for anythin that is
real, anything that has a local and community or
social element to it. And that is just one
video. It defies reason, why people don't put
up a server and do that 24 x 7, servers are
free. They are sitting out on the curb in the
trash, people don't even know how to use a
computer. it is pathetic, I found a 2 ghz dell
a cuple weeks ago with a dead power supply.
