CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
Video-trolleys. [super-habits; revised]

The shopping trolleys of a supermarket are transformed during a week  
in video-trolleys, transmitting video-creations dealing about  
consumption; Call for documentations of activist actions, culture- 
jamming, sub-vertizing, documentaries, and other works, that analyse  
in a critical way our habits of consumption.

The works will be installed inside a supermarket. That makes possible  
that a wide number of spectators, and in an opportune ambient  
perceive the messages: during the act of shopping.

The project Video-carros forms part of the festival alter-arte07,  
[festival of emerging art of the region of Murcia], from 1-7 of  
October. Alter-Arte will edit a catalogue with DVD, where the  
selected works will be published.

Last day reception of works: 8 September 2007
Format: single-channel, DVD-R(PAL), MiniDV(PAL), < 3min

Video-carros. [súper-hábitos; re-visados]

Los carros de compra de un supermercado se transforman durante una  
semana en vídeo-carros, que emiten video-creaciones con reflexiones  
sobre el consumo; Convocatoria para documentos de acciones  
activistas, culture-jamming, documentales, sub-vertizing y otras  
obras, que ponen nuestros hábitos de consumo en entredicho.
La emisión de los vídeos tendrá lugar dentro de un supermercado, lo  
que posibilita que los mensajes llegen a un amplio número de  
espectadores y en un momento y ambiente oportuno: durante el propio  
acto de comprar.

El proyecto se realiza en el marco del festival alter-arte07,  
[festival de arte emergente de la región de Murcia] del 1 al 7 de  
octubre, 2007 en Murcia [España]. El festival editará un catálogo  
con DVD donde todos los trabajos seleccionados serán publicados.
