[IMC-Video] Fw: It's Our Web!

Cat,
I can't make up my mind whether this lagging behind is due to limited
resources or a certain mindset which precludes technical advances.
There is, maybe, also a hint of paranoia about using stuff which can be
traced to individuals, like video as well as the use of mobiles, though
I am sure the authorities know about everyone already and have had
their moles firmly ensconced for quite some time, as well as
monitoring these lists, IRC and the FIT videoing activists anyway.
Doug.

Doug:
I agree with you.
Technologically, IndyMedia, Engage, Activists, and others will be
perpetual 2nd place finsihers unless they can come up with a site that
other media content producers like myself, and Doug among others, can
upload short (under 10 minutes) pieces that can be quickly downloaded
for repeat playback on people's desk & laptops, DVD players, or can be
used on other distribution media like P.E.G. Access TV either by the P.
E.G. centers themselves, those who have inhouse production crews,
or/and independent producers like myself.
Large files, some being 30 minutes or more, are not conducive for
feature spots on access programs because of their duration and the
incompatibility of software.
