agree archive.org is a good resource
but as far as I can tell, (and unlike youtube and - oh please - more
effective future versions of video indymedia)
 it doesn't allow users to subscribe to media feeds, with enclosures, from
the results of a search of its media database
as the co-ordinator of www.ifiwatch.tv (now using drupal modules adapted to
suck, aggregate and sort independent video about the world bank and imf etc
from media feeds) I'm super keen to see as much indymedia video as possible
hosted on sites from where the metadata can easily be syndicated using
feeds.. making it easy for the information to get where it wants to be for a
more visible, retrievable, useful video indymedia, imho : ))
so is it worth lobbying archive.org to produce RSS/atom?
or is there an otherwise similar free hosting and transcoding service that
already does this?
recommendations for good feed sources for FI-relevant video also very
welcome!

I can vouch for archive.org and put most of my stuff there. You can go
back and edit text and upload/download via ftp, http and transfer its
embedded .flv video elsewhere and its non-profit.
