[IMC-Video] new CMS sandbox

Hi all

I agree 100 percent with anna re: let's go ahead and set up a sandbox
for plumi and filmforge, try to make them work w/the functionality we
desire, then we can make a decision about which to use for the new
video.indy. Meanwhile, if anyone finds hosting for the current
video.indy, we can keep it alive for those who want to work on it/with
it and simply change its address to ivdn.indymedia.org.

re: indytube, the current filmforge setup is using ffmpeg with
flowplayer to do the transcoding and flash embed. We could shift to
indytube, but we are also discussing a completely FOSS solution (using
Ogg and Cortado).

In other words we are hoping to develop a solution that does not use
flash, since flash is not Free Software. For the moment we're using it,
since it allows user friendly functionality that is not quite replicated
yet with Free Software.

So, Lotu5, do you want to go ahead and set up the plumi sandbox?

peace
schock
