Films wanted for Exodus Shorts Film Festival

Part of the Exodus Refugee Arts Festival June 2007

Exodus Shorts is a unique film festival that showcases
the talent of refugee filmmakers as well as short
films that give a fresh and diverse perspective on the
lives of refugees and people seeking asylum.

When?
Screenings will take place across Manchester during
refugee week 18 – 23 June 2007. Venues will include
Cornerhouse, Imperial War Museum North and Urbis.

What are we looking for?
We want to screen films made by community groups and
individual filmmakers from the UK and beyond. This
year we are introducing different film strands:
Fiction, Documentary, Animation and Experimental.

Films must be

Short films: Fiction, Documentary, Animation and
Experimental
Duration: under 15 minutes
Screening formats: miniDV, DVD (PAL format) – DVD
preferred

How do I submit my films?
Submissions are free. Please complete the submission
form,a hard copy of which is available from
amy at can.uk.com. Multiple submissions are allowed but
each film must have a completed submission form. Films
should be clearly labelled and sent on DVD with the
completed submission form. Films received after the
submission deadline will not be considered.
