[IMC-Video] Status video.indymedia.org

Hi Kids,

video.indymedia.org moved from ahimsa to bolobolo. From a 100 Mbit
Line to a limited 1 Mbit connection. We got a good amount of diskspace
but we can not provide any direct http downloads.

There are some solutions how to handle this situation.

#1 find download mirrors

thats my prefered solution, if you have some diskspace and some free
bandwidth, please get in contact with me so we can setup a mirror
server.

#2 use bit torrent
that will be the next thing i will setup anyway, but it is not so user
friendly and we still have the problem that the init-seeder can only
povide a 1 mbit upstream.

#3 archive.org
we still have the option to upload the videos to archive.org, but that
would need a review and content check of all video data since we can
not upload any copyrighted bullshit...


as soon as i have the torrent server running i will enable the video upload.
