Hi imc-video,

so what is the problem video.indymedia.org ???

As I can read in the list archives, there are several offers to host
the site - what is lacking?

I am not able to top the already offered webspace and traffic, but if
needed, I can go and ask some local providers who are quite
activistish linux guys and I am quite sure they will prove their
commitment to a "free world with free software and free media" and
will help.

Also I could offer spending a dreamhost account, actually they are
offering 500 GB with unlimited traffic - of course, this would not
suffice as a main download server, but would be enough as another
backend for backups.

if man power is the problem, well, please give me a call, I may be
able to spend one or two days a week to help this important project to
survive. I have reasonable debian (preferred distro) admin and good
php programming skills, (python adapting, plone learning, ruby
lurking), also some knowledge of drupal and other OS software, enough
to get it running and to fix it, but I will not have time to programm
day and night.

Anyway, a status update would be nice to read.
