[IMC-Video] Update Downloads | Money Money Money, we need 200 Euro every 3 Month

Hi

so until now there is one person willing to donate money on a regular
basis, as well someone offered to donate some money right now for one time.

however this isn't enough to pay the additional bandwidth. and video
uses a lot of bandwidth! So all the new ideas of new cms's etc. are in
my opinion in a way useless if we don't get enough money (or offers for
free bandwidth) together to pay the bandwidth needed by video.indy

so anybody more willing to offer some money?

especially if we want to make the site more attractive, using embedded
videos in flash etc. we will use a hell lot more of bandwidth than
currently with serving only high quality downloads.

so what to do beside finding new cms's and funky new ways of
distributing videos?!

the option to raise the bandwidth on bolobolo is in my opinon quite fair
and cheap. However I think it's reasonable that the people hosting
bolobolo want to be sure that the money for the additional bandwidth is
really coming as they can't pay it on their own.

it was also mentioned that imc-finance can be asked to give some money.
however a request has to be written, who is willing to do that? somebody
as a liason on imc-finance offered to follow the request through the
process and look to pass it. So is there somebody willing to write a
request?

ps: sorry if the mail is offending anybody. However I find it quite
annoying that everybody is complaining about that video.indy is/was
offline and requesting new cms's, as well more/new features etc. But
nobody is willing to help to organise the most essential thing for a
video plattform: a lot of bandwidth! Or even just the money for it. just
my 2 cents on this topic.
