hi steev,
That's a good question, there's no reason not to
include feeds that
aren't branded indymedia if they fall into what we
think a global
indymedia site should feature.
This is what the feedlister at
http://video.indymedia.org does now
anyway. So we should get a list of those feeds which
have enclosures
and put them in the system.
But it does bring up a question of how we decide what
feeds to
include. Maybe they can be proposed to this list and
if no one objects
in a week or so they can go into the mix.
I've got one to propose as well. The feed for
Schmovies, focusing on
direct action in the UK and Ireland.
Home page http://www.schnews.org.uk/schmovies/
and feed
http://www.clearerchannel.org/schnews/video.rss
But then again - there is the argument that we could
be putting in
channels into our channel that are already channels in
their own
right. So I reckon it should also depend on how
popular exising feeds/
channels are.
For example we could add the Molotov podcast to the
indymedia feed,
but then I imagine that most people who are going to
subscribe to the
indymedia feed will already be subscribed to the
Molotov one, so it
might annoy them.
I hope you see what I mean.v
