Its good to see the video indymedia project getting back on its feet (:
Some thoughts: Mashing everything up into one big feed is problematic
using MIRO it is much better to use oneclick installs and add the feeds
sepretly in folders. Then the users are impowerd to deside what they
recive by adding and removing feeds rather than a centralized group -
centraliseing things is allwayes problematic not to say bad. Miro works
well with multabel feeds I have over 60 on my copy - and I can fine tune
how each feed works.
The advantage of merging feeds together is when nobody would ever find
the feed or they publish so infrqantly that you need a few together to
make the feed vierbal, evern then if one become bussey I would take it
out of the mashup and add it as a separate feed in its owen right.
Feeds impower users to manage there expirence, best not to take this
power away with out need, instead use one-click installs in miro (they
install multubal RSS feeds with one click). They aren't perfect but they
keep the user empowered (:
