Yep the is a place for the raw footage shown to the group in the
gathering after the event - and distributed to simuler groups around the
world to inspire and inform - but we musent mistake this for outreach as
it clearly isent. Its atavist talking to atavist - which while having a
lot of value isent what we need to change. What needs changing is
atavists talking to the wider world and the wider world talking back.
This dialog is some thing we do very little if at all.

Some things to add to the conversation:

1) repation - mainstream repeats the same story (with different
places/cloths) day in day out - and by this they create what/how people
view the world - repation is VERY important in the media.

2) trust - mainstream create normality by becoming trusted, atavist tern
over groups and change so fast that few long term trust relationships
can develop.

3) money is POWER and sustainability in a capitalist society - the is
very few ways to get round this - how can we build a powerful and
sutanebal alt-media - money is sadly part of the key. How do we mange
this while staying open and creative?

Some thoughts brought to you from a blaged wifi RV sat-uplink in the
redwoods nat-park. Next stop Portland if anyone wont's to meet up.
