[IMC-Video] Discussion at the USSF

Hi, everyone-

I've been following the list, but this is my first post. I'm with May 
First/People Link in New York, mostly working on the US and World Social 
Forums.

I have a proposal to hopefully move forward the video-sharing platform 
discussion. At the US Social Forum in Detroit this summer there will be 
a huge media and technology open space. Are there many of us coming to 
Detroit that would be willing to schedule a face-to-face meeting? 
Virtual connections for those that can't come are quite do-able.

An agenda might include anything from discussing platform options to 
actually installing and configuring a chosen platform. Having an open 
sprint, for example, is the kind of priceless thing that can only be 
done when large numbers of people get together in one space.

Just a thought, would love to see the many voices and organizations 
talking about online video finally converge!
