Hi

If people are finding the volume of emails difficult, then there are options on this list for daily 
digests where you get a whole day's messages in one. Alternatively, we could set up separate lists 
for technical/website things maybe...

I'm forwarding this query and response about the plans for a new startpage for uk indymedia, and how 
it might affect us.

The second part of my query was about our url - but I think Mish misunderstood my question so I'll 
write to process again - what we wanted to know was whether we could have the other two urls which 
would just redirect to the main one, not one for English and one for Welsh, but addresses which 
people might try to reach us on directly (rather than via a link from elsewhere) - they may try 
wales or cymru but wouldn't necessarily think of trying cymru-wales.

The news startpage design is intended for the UK, not for the regions.
Of course some regions might adapt the design for their own pages, but
you won't have to do that.

Just to clarify the URL bit, do you want

I'm fairly sure we can't change the last bit according to language -
that is

http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/regions/wales/
http://www.indymedia.org.uk/cy/regions/cymru/

is not possible.

So let us know.  And should this debate be on a wales specific list as
well as imc-process ?
