Hi
While I remember, here are some links I said I'd post to the group:
Documentation (to date) about cymru-imc-wales is on the indymedia wiki,
here:
http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Local/CymruImcWales
Here you can find minutes of Feb's meeting. Last weekend's minutes will
be put here as soon as they're available.
There's also the work to date on editorial guidelines and mission/vision
statement.
The guidelines are finished, but before Hywel finds someone to translate
them, maybe we should allow 48 hours for further comments for people who
haven't seen them yet. So... if you think anything should be changed in
these guidelines, send a message to this list by noon on Wednesday. I'll
collate these and update the wiki by the end of the week.
The vision/mission statement is work in progress. I'll try and find the
missing sections, enter the headings in the wiki and start work on
these. This statement doesn't look much like other regions' statements
because we read all these and then started from scratch, trying to put
the best content from all of them into an accessible format.
Comments/suggestions welcome.
I've sent invitations to people who wanted to join our email list. List
info, including all archives, can be found here:
http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/listinfo/imc-wales
Lists to join if you're interested in finding out how indymedia uk
process and adminning works are:
imc-uk-features
imc-uk-network
imc-uk-process
If you want to get involved in indymedia outreach work then join
imc-uk-outreach.
The uk lists can be found here: http://lists.indymedia.org/#Local%20Europe
The 'how to' guide I've been working on, and which will be printed up
for Big Green Gathering, Climate Camp etc., and which we may get
translated into Welsh, is here in draft form:
http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Local/UkOutreachTextsHowToGuide1
Think that's about it.
Cheers
Genny
