Just a quick comment on something Genny said

The standard way of doing this is to have a list of languages which are
links.  Each language name is in it's own language - so for english and
welsh the links would say

cymraeg
english

(to put them in alphabetical order).  This is the scheme used by other
indymedia sites eg.

quebec has a variation on the theme

http://quebec.indymedia.org/en/

So I would suggest you do that.  The most common place appears to be at
the top of the left column.  It's a template thing so I had a quick go
this evening.  Let me know if it looks OK to you lot.  Also it should be
on every page and the links should just change en <-> cy in the url, so
let me know if you spot anywhere that doesn't happen.
